Members of the working group for the establishment of an integrated airspace control and monitoring system of Montenegro, including a representative of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, carried out a visit to Vrsute on March 9, 2011, as one of the possible positions for setting up a system for airspace monitoring. The group is engaged in the preparation and harmonization of documents and the implementation of programs and the process of establishing an integrated airspace control and monitoring system. Namely, Montenegro's commitment to full membership in NATO and the EU implies achieving standards in the field of security and defense. One of the priorities is the protection of sovereign airspace. On this path in the process so far, numerous meetings and agreements have been realized that resulted in the adoption of the Information on the establishment of a single system of airspace control and monitoring by the Government of Montenegro and the formation of an inter-ministerial working group for its establishment.
