Environmental Protection Unit

Environmental Protection Unit performs activities related to environmental protection against the aviation impact, in particular to: assessment of noise impact and engine emissions and rendering expert opinions on aviation impact to environment in accordance with the ICAO Annex 16; conducting different assessments related to aerodromes and analysing results; recommendation of measures for aircraft noise and engine emissions abatement; participation in development of procedures for aircraft noise and engine emissions abatement and participation in international coordination and cooperation related to the environmental protection against aviation impact.
