Today, the European Commission stated its positive opinion on request of Montenegro for application of One Stop Security system in air transport.

                           

Recognition of compliance of Montenegrin with European civil aviation security standards took place after our country participated in “One Stop Security” project, managed by Montenegro Civil Aviation Agency justifying that the success in the project reflects the advanced level achieved by Montenegro in application of European standards in air transport.

The Director General of Montenegro Civil Aviation Agency, Dragan Djurovic, and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, Mirjana Cizmarov, signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of providing air navigation services on 27 November 2015.

The Memorandum lays down common goals and areas of bilateral cooperation between civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia in oversight of providing air navigation services and oversight of air traffic management.

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Mr Dragan Djurovic and the acting director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Slovenia, Mr Sandi Knez, signed in Ljubljana on 23 July the Memorandum of Understanding between the civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and Slovenia.

Memorandum of Understanding determines the common objectives and areas of bilateral cooperation between the civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and Slovenia.

The cooperation includes sharing experiences, joint development of new procedures and manuals, as well as exchange of documents related to FCL, OPS and airports, airworthiness, ATM and ANS.
