n the period from 7 to 11 October 2013, the Civil Aviation Agency was the subject of the EASA standardization visit, in accordance with the SAFA Working Arrangement with EASA (SAFA WA), and with the annual plan of EASA.

Signed SAFA WA refers to the collection and exchange of information in relation to the safety of aircraft for the destination of EU airports, non-EU airports participating in the program, and airports in Montenegro.

By signing this contract, Montenegro has received the status of a preliminary member which implies limited access to certain information.

Podgorica, October 11, 2013 - The Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro in cooperation with the Hungarian organization Hungaro Control and with the support of TAIEX (Office for Technical Assistance and Information Exchange within the Directorate General for Enlargement of the European Commission) organized a seminar " Training in Civil Aviation ", which brought together over 90 participants from 13 countries. The seminar assessed that the Single European Sky and the new regulatory frameworks in the field of civil aviation imposed great challenges, and that success can only be achieved with the constant improvement of personnel in this field.
