Meeting of the directors of the Agency and SMATSA

On 10 February, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency Director, Mr Ivan Scekic, with his associates, had a conversation with representatives of Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA llc, led by the new Director of SMATSA, Mr Rasa Ristivojevic, and his Deputy Director in Montenegro, Mr Rajko Uskokovic.

The collocutors exchanged opinions on challenges in civil aviation, particularly in the period of growth of transport volume.

Implementation of activities so far and forthcoming plans of SMATSA were topics of the conversation.

Meeting participants agreed on need for continuation of investments in improvement of air navigation system safety and security.

With experts from Brussels on application of new EU regulations

The EUROCONTROL experts from Brussels held three-day training on information security in premises of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA).

The workshop objective was to make participants thoroughly familiar with new European Union regulations on information security in the area of civil aviation. Two presented EU regulations define that area and their transposition at the CAA level is planned to take place during 2025.

The Agency representatives organised workshop in the period from 4 to 6 February, in cooperation with the EUROCONTROL through the organisation’s Support to State programme.

The CAA is strengthening safety culture, the M & B workshop is held

The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) continues strengthening safety culture also through organising workshops that are of significance for improvement of knowledge and skills.

“Mass & Balance workshop” was held on 13 and 14 June of this year, and it was lead by the expert from the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, Zlatko Sirac.

Participants were introduced with effect that M&B has on aircraft stability and manoeuvrability, methods of calculations of aircraft centre of gravity, operational envelope of allowed position of aircraft centre of gravity, as well as oversight of aircraft operator M&B system.
