Directors of the CAA and the ICAO with the Minister of Transport

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), Ivan Scekic, and the Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Regional Office for Europe and North Atlantic, Nicolas Rallo, had a conversation with the Minister of Transport, Maja Vukicevic, on the first day of visit of the ICAO high representative.

Two-day agenda of the ICAO Regional Office Director, who is in official visit to Montenegro on 26 and 27 September 2024, has intensive character.

Following the conversation with the Minister Vukicevic whose topics were of importance for further development of aviation, the work of aviation authority was presented in the Agency.

The CAA is hosting a visit of the ICAO high representative

Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regional office for Europe and North Atlantic, Nicolas Rallo, is in official visit to Montenegro on 26 and 27 September this year.

The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), led by the Director Ivan Scekic, is host of this important visit, which is the first visit of such high-level head of the ICAO that is also confirmation of status of Montenegro in global and regional system in this area, as well as credibility of its aviation authority at international level.

It is planned that the leading person of the ICAO regional office has conversation with the Minister of Transport, Maja Vukicevic.

Innovated Memorandum with Croatia for strengthening cooperation

Expert support from neighbouring country Croatia, which is a member of the European Union (EU), in the field of air traffic will be valuable to Montenegro.

 

This was evaluated by the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), Ivan Šćekić, upon signing an innovated Memorandum of understanding with the Director of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA), Ana Kapetanović.

It is a document that represents a basis for strengthening cooperation in the field of air traffic oversight and safety between two countries, and assistance in the application of international regulations in this area.

The Director of the Montenegrin Agency is on an official visit to Zagreb, at the invitation of his Croatian colleague.
