Section for Aeronautical Charts and Aeronautical Information Service

Section for Aeronautical Charts (AC) and Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) perform activities related to: arrangement and design of all aeronautical charts and publications; publication of data and information in accordance with the ICAO Annexes 4, 6 and 15; application of WGS 84; development of all types of instrumental and visual procedures for safe approach, landing, take off, determination of criteria for safe obstacle clearance in airspace; determination of requirements for installation of radio-navigation equipment; recommendation of requirements for organisation, authorisation, oversight, monitoring and implementation of regulations applicable to AIS, organise international coordination and cooperation related to AC and AIS.
