Within the EUROCONTROL Support to State Programme, the workshop on Airspace risk assessment (ARA) was organised at the premises of the Civil Aviation Agency on 28 May 2024 during the implementation of airspace for intended use of unmanned aircraft systems (U-space).

Apart from representatives of the Civil Aviation Agency, the workshop was participated by the representatives of the Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA llc Belgrade, Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and EUROCONTROL, who at the same time led the workshop.

Topics that were thoroughly dealt with were establishment of the U-space, integration of the U-space into the aviation system and risk management during that integration.

In the forthcoming period, the following activity of the Civil Aviation Agency is to, pursuant to obtained knowledge, conduct risk assessment and to determine whether it is possible to establish U-space in our airspace.
