The workshop for paraglider pilots has been held in the premises of the Civil Aviation Agency

The Professional seminar in the area of paraglider flight safety was held in premises of the Civil Aviation Agency on 04 April 2014.

Seminar was attended by: 16 paraglider pilots (including two foreign lecturers), the CAA staff and representative of Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
Topics introduced at the workshop referred to:
 
• the regulatory frameworks for paragliding,
• national system of reporting on events significant for aircraft safety,
• airspace classification,
• paragliding safety,
• paraglider flight safety.

Seminar attendees had the opportunity to openly discuss with lecturers and clarify all open issues in this area.

Anonymous survey with paraglider pilots took place at the seminar closure. The survey objective had a research character, and was related to the paraglider pilots’ opinion assessment regarding the workshop and processed topics. Majority of attendees evaluated the workshop as very good, and couple of them evaluated it as excellent.

Once more, attendees were asked to provide their contribution in area of paragliding, to expand communication with the Agency regarding all areas they believe should be changed, expanded, elaborated, etc.
