The Council of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro (CAA) approved support in the amount of 10,700,00€ to the Danilovgrad Health Centre Dimitrije - Dika Marenić for procurement of device for improving ophthalmological diagnostics, which is of particular importance for needs of aviation personnel.
The donation is directed to the sole healthcare institution in Montenegro authorised for conducting medical examinations of aviation personnel. Procedure of procurement of the device is expected to be finished soon.
Support is important, particularly because it provides contribution to fulfilment of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards in this area, and ensures compliance with the EU requirement as well as availability of service necessary for aviation personnel.
The Council decision, adopted at the end of previous year upon proposal of the Director, is in accordance with the 2025 financial plan and it confirms social responsibility of the Agency that is not funded from the State budget.
The CAA continues to ensure application of the European aviation regulations and improves processes that the EASA identified as needed, during the control that took place in the previous year in areas of FCL & MED.
