The Civil Aviation Agency is hosting the autumn meeting of European and international experts in the field of aeronautical radio frequency spectrum.
Meetings of the Frequency Management Group (FMG) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Radio Frequency Team (RAFT) of the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) are being held in Podgorica from 20 to 22 October 2026.
Members of these working groups, including representatives of the Agency and Montenegro National Frequency Manager, Biljana Milošević, address issues related to the use and protection of the aeronautical radio frequency spectrum.
Their work is focused on improving aeronautical frequency planning and coordination, developing solutions for more efficient use of the VHF frequency band and available resources, and exploring opportunities to apply new communication technologies while maintaining the reliability of existing aviation systems.
The Director of the Agency, Ivan Šćekić, wished the participants productive meetings and the achievement of concrete results that will be supported both at national and regional level.
By hosting meetings of these expert bodies in Montenegro, the Civil Aviation Agency provides its contribution to the development of aviation, the strengthening of European and international partnerships, and the promotion of the country.
