Flight Personnel Licensing and Monitoring Section

Flight Personnel Licensing and Monitoring Section shall perform administrative and oversight activities, as well as related study and analytical and normative legal activities related to: requirements for flight personnel licensing and ratings, namely: pilots of airplanes and helicopters, sailplanes, air ships, free balloons, sports aircraft, and flight navigators and flight engineers; assessment of flight personnel professional qualifications; arrangement and performance of professional assessment of qualifications in case flight personnel licensing and ratings; establishment of flight personnel professional training programmes; training centres for flight personnel; recognition of flight personnel foreign licences and ratings; assessment of flight personnel medical fitness; issuance and renewal of flight personnel licences; revoking flight personnel licences; drafting aviation regulations in accordance with international conventions, standards and recommendations which are applicable to the flight personnel and flight personnel training centres and other activities related to the scope of activity of the Section.
