The Directors of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, Ivan Šćekić, and of the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia, Mirjana Čizmarov, met on February 18, 2025, to discuss the implemented and planned joint activities of the aviation authorities of both countries.

The key topic of the meeting in Belgrade was the implementation of the Agreement on Technical Cooperation in the field of joint oversight of air navigation services.

The Directors of the aviation institutions, together with their associates, considered the report on the implementation of the Agreement, analyzed the cooperation achieved and adopted a plan of joint supervisions and activities for the upcoming period.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the results achieved so far, emphasizing the importance of continuous technical cooperation to improve the safety, security, and efficiency of air navigation in the region.

Regular annual meetings of the aviation authorities of Montenegro and Serbia are important in order to ensure the full implementation of the Agreement, as well as the further development of joint activities in all areas of aviation.
