On November 14, 2011, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro Dragan Djurovic held a bilateral meeting with Matthias Reute, Director General for Transport and Transport (DG MOVE) in the European Commission.

The meeting was an opportunity for Mr. Djurovic to inform his interlocutor about the current situation in the field of civil aviation in Montenegro, as well as to present the activities of the Agency in the past period.

One of the topics discussed was the implementation of the 1st phase of the ECAA Agreement, which Montenegro is successfully finalizing, which will be the subject of a visit by the European Commission's experts, announced for the beginning of next year.

Special attention was devoted to finding the possibility to solve a very important project for the Montenegrin civil aviation - a night flight to Tivat airport.

Mr. Reute has shown the understanding and readiness of the European Commission to assist Montenegro in further activities in the development of civil aviation in Montenegro.
