The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), Ivan Scekic, and the Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Regional Office for Europe and North Atlantic, Nicolas Rallo, had a conversation with the Minister of Transport, Maja Vukicevic, on the first day of visit of the ICAO high representative.

Two-day agenda of the ICAO Regional Office Director, who is in official visit to Montenegro on 26 and 27 September 2024, has intensive character.

Following the conversation with the Minister Vukicevic whose topics were of importance for further development of aviation, the work of aviation authority was presented in the Agency.

The conversation included, inter alia, ICAO standards and recommended practices that are being successfully implemented by the CAA.

The first person of the ICAO Regional Office expressed his thankfulness regarding the presented results and wished successful continuation of the work.

“This visit is of high importance for us, as regards numerous possibilities that ICAO can provide for the purpose of further improvement of Montenegrin civil aviation system”, Scekic replied.
