The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Mr Dragan Djurovic and the acting director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Slovenia, Mr Sandi Knez, signed in Ljubljana on 23 July the Memorandum of Understanding between the civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and Slovenia.
Memorandum of Understanding determines the common objectives and areas of bilateral cooperation between the civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and Slovenia.
The cooperation includes sharing experiences, joint development of new procedures and manuals, as well as exchange of documents related to FCL, OPS and airports, airworthiness, ATM and ANS.
Having in mind that the Agency signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Slovenia, which is the EU member state, defining the development and flexibility of documents and human resources utilisation in all civil aviation aspects, this form of cooperation shall contribute to strengthen the European path of Montenegro in the area of air transport.
This Memorandum of Understanding means the continuation of intensive activities the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro in establishing close and partner relations between aviation authorities of the region.
