In Podgorica, 10/11. March 2011, negotiations were held between the delegations of the Government of Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates in order to conclude the Agreement on International Air Transport between the two countries. On that occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the United Arab Emirates was signed and the text of the Air Transport Agreement between the two countries was harmonized.

Within the stay of the delegation of the United Arab Emirates to Podgorica, a meeting was held with the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi with the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Mr. Dragan Djurovic.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences with a colleague from the United Arab Emirates and to agree ways of future cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency was proposed and signed, which would specify the areas of bilateral cooperation through mutual development and flexibility of the use of documentation and human resources in all civil aviation apps between Montenegro and the UAE.
