In Montenegro, 320 drone operators were registered in only one year and three months, i.e. since the beginning of application of new rules that comply with the EU standards.
The test, obligatory for all drone pilots whose mass is more than 249 grams, was passed by 352 applicants.
In accordance with the applicable rules, operators registered in the EU do not hae to register in Montenegro, if they submit certificate on registration from the Member State. Due to this, the majority of registered persons in our country were the foreigners, and not we are witnessing the significant growth of national operators.
The Agency invested significant resources in order to enable digitalisation of the process that is in entirety free of charge for users.
Stimulation for using this simple - online registration procedure and taking the exam contributes achieving the objective which is to avoid jeopardising aviation safety, as well as men or property on ground.
