Information

The Civil Aviation Agency, as a body representing the aviation authority of the state of Montenegro, performs, among other things, a very important role in the supervision of air traffic in Montenegro. In the previous period, the Agency paid special attention to the promotion and improvement of the knowledge of its supervisory staff, which was attended by numerous courses organized by relevant international institutions in centers throughout Europe.

A few days ago, the Agency got its first international auditor.

Namely, Mr. Krsto Pavićević has successfully completed and passed all the tests for the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) auditor, which means that in the future, he can participate in security missions for security of the airports of all member states of this reputable international organization, which have joined the monitoring process carried out by this reputable international organization. This is a total of fourty-four, mainly European countries, which includes all members of the European Union, but also the United States, which also speaks enough about the significance of this certificate. Otherwise, the audits carried out by this organization are among the most detailed and rigorous quality controls in the field of air traffic safety that are performed today in the world. Montenegro, or its airports, have so far been subject to a total of four controls in the previous three years by the ECAC.

The fact that the Agency got its first international auditor in the field of air traffic safety is especially important if one has in mind that Mr. Pavićević is the only valid certified auditor of the European Civil Aviation Conference in the Balkans, which is a recognition for the Agency itself and proof that the Agency promotes European rules and standards in its supervisory work.
