Technical Cooperation Programme, signed in 2013 by Montenegro Civil Aviation Agency and Directorate General for Civil Aviation of France enabled realisation of 10 activities, which provided significant contribution to further professional improvements of human resources and application of recommended practices in aviation.

At the second meeting of the Steering Committee of this programme, held on 9 February in Paris, actual cooperation was evaluated as very good, and representatives of two countries were considering new activities for the current year and 2017.

The meeting was attended by Patrick Gandill, Director of the general Directorate for Civil Aviation of France, who chaired the Steering Committee, with associates, and Dragan Đurović, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, with associates.

“Exchange of professional knowledge and permanent professional improvement of human resources is particularly important in areas with fast development, such as civil aviation, and therefore, the cooperation with the European countries’ aviation institutions is one of priorities in the work of the Civil Aviation Agency. Through this programme, we were provided with exquisite professional support by our French colleagues in the previous two years. We are particularly proud for having even ten trainings for professional improvement of the Agency employees, because we insist on human resources expertise which provides contribution to further strengthening of our institution”, as Dragan Đurović, the Director of Montenegro Civil Aviation Agency, said.

While in France, the representatives of the Civil Aviation Agency have visited ENAC, leading university focused on aviation in Europe, which is located in Toulouse, as well as the principal place of business of Airbus. They saw Airbus facilities for assembling A380, the airplane of the 21st century, as well as new type of jet plane A350 XWB. Representatives of Montenegrin civil aviation authorities also visited ATR company located in Toulouse, where they were introduced to the production of new ATR models.
