Information regarding Ebola virus disease (EVD)

After the publication of the statement of WHO – World Health Organization Director General, Dr Margaret Chan, that the Ebola outbreak in western Africa is a public health threat of international importance, the Civil Aviation Agency monitors the situation regarding Ebola outbreak in western Africa and its possible influence to air transport.
The Agency monitors news and information on daily level with assistance of EACCC – European Aviation Crisis Coordination Cell operated by EUROCONTROL NM, and with participation of WHO - World Health Organization, ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization, IATA – International Air Transport Association, ACI – Airport Council International, EC – European Commission and EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency.
