The Civil Aviation Agency organized Workshop on Groundhandling on 27 January 2015.
The workshop was attended, apart from the host and representatives of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, by the representatives of aerodrome operators and providers of groundhandling and self-handling services from Montenegro.
The workshop topics included the regulation which covers groundhandling in Montenegro, its implementation and improvement.
The workshop participants were presented with legal basis and guidelines for preparation of applicable regulations through the publication of Regulation on groundhandling services and amendments thereof. Representatives of the Aerodrome Section put participants’ focus on problems related to implementation of regulations with particular attention to preparation of operative manuals, while the representatives of Croatian aviation authorities shared their experience related to preparation and implementation of applicable regulations in the Republic of Croatia.
The presentations were followed by constructive discussion where the workshop participants stated their comments and asked questions regarding the applicable regulation and proposals for amendments thereof, which resulted in subsequent internal consultations and expansion of deadline for filing of comments and suggestions related to the draft Proposal for the Regulation on groundhandling services by 6 February 2015.
