The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, Mr Dragan Djurovic, and the Director of the Irish Aviation Authority, Mr Peter Kearney, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the competent civil aviation authorities of Montenegro and Ireland on 05 March 2018 in Madrid, at the margins of the World ATM Congress.

Ireland is one more EU Member State with which the Agency has signed the Memorandum of Understanding, defining the development and flexibility of use of documents and human resources in all aspects of the civil aviation. This form of cooperation shall also contribute strengthening the European progress of Montenegro in the area of air transport.

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, Mr Dragan Djurovic, and the Director of the Directorate General for Civil Aviation of France, Mr Patrick Gandil, signed in Paris on 9 February 2018 the Technical Cooperation Programme between the competent authorities of Montenegro and France.

By signature of this cooperation programme, which is a continuation of the Programme from 2013, it is proceeded with the intensive activities of extremely good cooperation between the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro and the aviation authorities of France.

EASA published Safety Information Bulletin (SIB) informing airlines and passengers about how to fly safely with Portable Electronic Devices containing Lithium Batteries.
The Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, having in mind increased number of travels in the forthcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, published the safety recommendation of the European Aviation safety Agency (EASA) informing airlines and passengers about how to fly safely with portable electronic devices (PED) containing lithium batteries.

EASA, In its Safety Information Bulletin (SIB) recommended that the PEDs containing lithium batteries such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, electronic cigarettes should be carried in the passenger cabin, to enable the crew to react rapidly in case an incident... OPŠIRNIJE
